Like I have stated in past ... The most common newsletter based request we get is for nutritionally sound recipes that are considered "clean eating". It has become silly at this point for us to not dedicate at least a few weeks on meal time treasures.
This weeks entry comes from my fitness enthusiast uncle who probably is a lot to blame for my very early interest in the way the human body responds to exercise stimuli. This makes him at least partially responsible with the soreness many of you have felt over the last 22 years. He showed me how to make this one day after lifting around twenty five years ago, and it is still a staple in my diet. Old School Joe-vernight Oats' Of Course try to get organic Ingredients: In a Container of your choice (good trick is to make these into serving sizes and take on the go) I usually use glass containers because I feel it works best. Mix Raw Honey and Unsweetened Almond or unsweetened Coconut Milk (feel free to make your own milks) in a blender, taste till you get the desired sweetness. (yes you can use maple, agave etc... this is just how I do it) Fill your container 3/4 of the way up with a combination of old fashioned oats, blueberries, banana, strawberries or any other fruit that will hold up well soaking for 24 hours. Then fill with milk mixture from the blender till liquid fills slightly above the oats. Leave it in the fridge for 24 hours an enjoy. NOTE* Add protein powder if you care more about protein than you do taste.

Wow! Thanks for sharing the method of making a yummy and nutritious meal :) Can I use yogurt instead of milk as I like the taste of yogurt too much <3 , so using yogurt instead of milk gives the equal health benefits?

Hi Sonia! Our pleasure, Thank you for being a subscriber :) You can most definitely substitute the milk for yogurt as far as health benefits are concerned. Organic or grass fed yogurt are good options, it just may change the consistency a bit, but worth a try for the love of yogurt! Enjoy, and let us know how it was!
