TRAINER JOES BLOG![]() Eating Clean can sometimes be brutal, so this recipe is more of a trick to make dieting much less painful, rather than me trying to channel my inner Martha Stewart . In addition to being delicious it has a kick, which makes it sure to boost your metabolism! To make the Cauliflower: 1 small head cauliflower (about 2 pounds) 2 tablespoons olive oil 1/4 teaspoon fine salt 1/3 cup Frank's Red Hot sauce 3 tablespoons Melted Coconut oil Mix Ingredients and leave for at least 1 hour or Overnight in the fridge if you want. On a large baking sheet, cover with enough water to lightly coat the bottom of the sheet, add your marinated cauliflower and bake for 15 - 20 minutes mixing frequently. Serve with Blue Cheese Crumbles if that fits into your diet. From there it will depend on your preference and health goals ... If you're Paleo, Vegan or Vegetarian, add to some crisp Boston lettuce or a salad. If you have reason to be mindful of your protein then, add this on top of salmon, bison burger or protein of your choosing. I usually add more hot sauce at this point but some people would call that excessive. Either way, it's a fast meal and easily reheated and added to any meal plan. * To be noted this works well with Broccoli, Potato, Squash and all sorts if veggies although the cooking times may have to be adjusted depending on the ingredients you have chosen.
